Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. The reporter will serve as the Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent for Space and Defense, Kristin Fisher covers all aspects of space including NASA to the recently formed Space Force as well as commercial space businesses and space tourism. Kristin was the daughter of NASA astronauts as well as a space enthusiast has spent her entire childhood in the industry. She served for five years as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Biden and Trump Administrations. Over the course of this time, she covered the presidential 2020 campaign, two impeachment trials and two attempts to prevent the spread of coronavirus in addition to two distinct administrations' initiatives. She also went on trips with President Trump and Vice President Trump extensively. This included a secret trip to Afghanistan. Kristin was a television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., which she won an Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter, before becoming a reporter for CBS in 2015. Kristin used her experience in front of the camera to launch Field Mouse Films. The company specialized in producing documentary-style films and was a favorite among corporate clients, including Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Boston University. The couple's husband and daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
